Scoring on an iPad#

The rest of this guide teaches baseball scoring notation — the symbols and conventions that work on any scorecard, paper or digital. This section is different: it covers features specific to BaseballScorer, the iPad and iPhone app built around that notation.

If you score on paper or with another tool, you can skip this section — nothing here changes how the game is scored. It’s here for people using the app who want to understand what its automated features do and how they map back to the notation in the rest of the guide.
